Past Work
- In 2010 I graduated from the University of Liverpool, UK with a First Class Master’s Degree in Physics (M.Phys, Honours).
- In 2014 I successfully defended my PhD at the University of Hamburg, Germany.
- My thesis is titled Measurement of Z Boson production with the ATLAS Experiment at the LHC.
- From 2014 to 2016 I worked as a postdoctoral research fellow in particle physics
at the University of Alberta, Canada
- My research involved the search for microscopic black holes using data from the Large Hadron Collider at CERN.
- As a member of the ATLAS Experiment at CERN I made a small contribution to the discovery of the Higgs Boson , for which the 2013 Nobel Prize in Physics was awarded to Peter Higgs and François Englert.
- From 2017 to 2018 I worked as software developer for the Astronomy group at the University of Alberta.
